New Trend in Spam: Covenant Inundated

Yeah, so anyway, what's the deal with the covenant.edu dom? I used to get no spam; now I get about 10 a day. By my calculations, my penis should be about 10 feet long by now. And I should have wealth equal to the GNP of all 3rd-world nations combined.

The weirdest trend however, has to be the "banned CD" dealies, which use random strings of words in an attempt to circumvent spam filters. In the words of Filmgoerjuan, whose blog is both more interesting and more frequently updated than mine, "You had me at yayudisjrvv."

When will this trend stop? Well, in a way, I'm actually rooting for it. It's so pathetic it's almost touching. And I think I can turn phrases like this one, "collect constrain meritorious hodge anaplasmosis topaz thwart gaslight clung pant withhold someone'll spectrophotometer ipso armageddon arthritis extrusion redcoat dirty oblivious sponsor fernery witness bedbug term sortie omelet romance aurora earmark form" into a new form of dadaist form. Talk about turning lemons into lemonade.

Watch this space for my next work, "Dissonant Orthorhombic Onomatopoeia." It's poetry for the machine age, baby.

if you think 10 a day is inundation, I fear for you. just never ever let your email address display on a website without some sort of encyption or trickery.

Evan, in my 4 years at Covenant, I have never once gotten an unsolicited e-mail delivered to my school address. That's what my AOL and hotmail e-mail accounts are for.

P.S. Oh, and just let me know what the best Viagra price you find is...

Yeah, I don't know how the spammers got aholt (great variant spelling, eh?) of my Covenant email. Annoying, though.
