Forgot to mention last night...
My computer @ home died, so internet access is a bit more sporadic for me. I need to find a WiFi location (preferably free, or very cheap) to which I can take my laptop.
I know it's unlikely, but do any of you know of one in the Lancaster area?

Wander around lancaster city with your laptop on. You're bound to find somebody unkowingly keeping their network open sooner or later.

Try asking JD Bell. He might know of a place --but you have to get hold of him first, which is the difficulty.

Check out this site. They've got four hotspots listed.

I think the J And B Tavern may have whatever gizmo you need.
(Note to non-quarryites ((I wanted to write quarryvillians but as you can see it did not work out)) the J and B is the kind of establishment that "road house patrick swayze" would struggle a bit to tame.)
Thanks all. I'll try out all your suggestions, except for the J & B, since, I believe, they wouldn't let me in the door. Maybe I can use their network sitting on the stoop, however.
