this is what mid-night stress drives me to

My Bloginality is INTP. I find this to be relatively accurate, though I actually am able to keep up with the routine of blogging. It's only non-self-imposed routines that I find hard.

Such as the routine of doing papers ahead of time...Ouch. (But I did read almost all of Saussure's Course in General Linguistics for my Philosophy of Language paper. That's got to count for something.)

Also, I want to say that having no comments is no fun, because for me blogging is best when it starts up a dialogue. But I know Josiah and Co. are doing the best that they can, and I'm grateful for it. I'll never go back to Blogger, now that I have an actual community.

I read Saussure a couple of summers ago. Then this semester I was reading some stuff about poetry that the French symbolist poet Stephane Mallarmé wrote. It seemed very Structuralist in conception. It would be an interesting study to actually work through relationships and influences. And from my point of view: Mallarmé touched almost every significant 20th century composer in some way (except the germans). All very interesting....
