brae, i thought i got a letter from you
A letter in a Hello Kitty envelope came in my mailbox today. It was the cutest striped Japanese letter I've ever seen. And I thought of you, Brae, and your Hello Kitty notebook and pen. But it wasn't from you, it was someone writing my mom. Odd...
(I had Guinness tonight for the first time. But I think it would've been better draft. In a can just isn't the same...)
{I've been working in a rug store for the past two days. Vacuuming rugs and washing windows - at least there's jazz and air conditioning. I want to do some selling now.}
[I saw Rain Man on TCM last night. "Ray - I've got news for you. K-Mart sucks." What a great movie. And it seems pretty realistic too. Write me if I'm wrong. Heck, write me if I'm right. Just write me, all right?]

What makes you think Brae's going to get your message here? I don't think she looks at blogs. But I am here now, and I will tell her what you said.
We celebrated her twenty first birthday today.
You missed the Bro Danielson/Wovenhand show in Alexandria VA (remember i told you to make it a priority?). It was great. Brother Danielson did a show-and-tell routine in between songs. My favorite show-and-tell was the homemade cards "to send to a loved one--or hated one--who you've done wrong toward". On the front of one were beautiful finster-esque sketches of balloons drifting into the sky. Open it up and the message read: "Let it go!!!"
How am I supposed to know Brae doesn't look at blogs? :)
That's funny that you celebrated her 21st today. I guess that makes her a little over a month younger than me. I wish I had skipped a grade in school :)
I would've made it a priority if I had cash, Lowen. I didn't start working much until last week. And since I'm working with a temp agency, it's still kinda erratic.

You didn't drink straight out of the can, did you?

I had Guiness from a can once, actually at a My Morning Jacket and M Ward show in NYC. It was repulsive, but it was the only thing close to good that they had. I also love Rain Man.

No, thankfully. It actually says not to on the side.

I like Guiness...about the only beer I do like. But maybe it just tastes better in England...

I like Guiness and usually I don't drink it from a can, but I did once when I was sitting next to a canal in England and it made it taste better when I saw the canalboat men with their Guiness-in-cans opening the flights for their boats.
