temptation is to simply write a to-do list
...for all the things I must do before Oxford. At least I have my room assignment now and, if I can only get my ISIC card to them soon, should have my final information packet and be good to go. The England travel guide I got for Christmas makes me anxious about my finances abroad, however. But, as my grandfather said, God will provide.
Here I am again, spiritually at peace in the middle of temporal busyness. I slept most of the day, but this time, for once, I think it was a justifiable indolence.
Boston was great, and I felt rested while I was there, but have crashed again now that I'm back home. My room is filled with the detritus of four years at Covenant, mainly cooking supplies and un-hung-up clothes. I won't be able to rest there quite until that's all put away.
I had more to say, but I'm trailing off...
I'm excited about actually having a laptop again, though, possibly. Oh, and as I was just reminded by Micah Craine, I got pretty poor grades this semester compared to usual - I got an A on my SIP (the only thing I really cared about), and passed my two P/F classes (Christology and Microeconomics) but got an A- in 20th-century Christian Fiction, and B- in both Global Trends (though I might be able to argue that one, in regard to my final project) and Shakespeare (unsurprisingly; I'm glad it's over; though I did like some of the plays we read, the time of the class was horrible (8 am MWF)). So now my cumulative average is 3.7 - I need 3.75 to graduate magna cum laude, as I'd hoped. Lord willing, I can do well enough at Oxford to make that a possibility.
Of course, I don't know if I'll be graduating this year at all. I need to get my cross-cultural paper in by April 15 and CLEP out of Spanish (which, with my poor memory of 2 awful years in high school, will be hard). Prayers for that situation.
