ok, so i lied on here the other day...
It wasn't actually my 600th entry. Sorry about that.
Anyway, this is interesting: the Moodgrapher. It tracks moods among LiveJournal users. Credit jb for the link.
I would normally post such a thing to del.icio.us, but I don't have my bookmarklets up right now, because I just switched browsers: from Camino to Safari. Camino was being buggy and unstable on my computer, and while I love the Mozilla project, I love stability more. I also was getting pop-unders, which, considering that I'm using a Mac, was especially annoying.
Still tired today. Read for hours without getting out of bed. Laziness can be fun!

you know what I don't like? when people say "oh, I lied" when they didn't really lie so much as make a mistake. I feel like the word "lie" is used too freely, not so much because it becomes more acceptable but because we all sound like lying bastards, which we aren't.

I'm sorry. I didn't lie :)
That reminds me of one of my mom's pet peeves - when people say "steal" when they really mean "borrow." For example, "Let me steal that pen from you for a minute." It's really an indirect way of saying, "May I borrow your pen for a minute?" People think it's witty, but it's really not.
And neither was my use of "lie."

Um, so I am confused. Did you just admit you were lying about lying? How many mistakes can you make before we sop believing it was all inadvertant blundering?
:)

Pinocchio obviously meant to type "stop" rather than "sop."
And anyway, I believe that one can lie even while telling the literal truth. Take the case of Jack/Ernest Worthing for instance.

What if I said can I make off like a bandit with your pen?
