books i'd like to see published

The CIA: 50 Years of Failure

Evangelicals: 100 Years of Scaring People with Lies About Sex (Maher is extreme, of course, and not all Christians or all evangelicals feel as the FRC does, but this is just infuriating to me. Like the Catholics' ban on contraception (which encourages abortion and the overpopulation of the 3rd world), and the ways in which Christians used to repeat myths like "masturbation saps vitality" - in the Victorian era.)

The Bush Administration: 8 Years of Dishonest Incompetence (This was brought on most recently when I was reading about Bernard Kerik, the proposed 2nd homeland security secretary, whose nomination failed because of scandal, and who is now being indicted. And there's Alberto Gonzales, of course. And the idiots who ran the Coalition Provisional Authority. As Jon Stewart said a while back, I can understand why Clinton got pleasure out of his scandals. But Bush seems to take pleasure in his subordinates' incompetence - that's just sick.)

Add your own suggestions in the comments.
