fall comes, and i'm feeling much better (also an offer of art)

Well, now I've seen the Castle in the Clouds for the first time since I was 9, when I went with my uncle and parents.

Day trips are best when you have just one goal, and the rest is spontaneity - like looking for a pumpkin farm only to see razor wire on top of a jail, or discovering that you have an aptitude for finding brightly-colored leaves.

I also did some lettering for Sarah last night, which I haven't done in a long time. I discovered that it is, in fact, incredibly relaxing.

So I'm going to make you, the readers of my blog, an offer. If you want some hand-lettering (& maybe a sketch or two) done by me, post a comment on this entry with your address and a Scripture verse or other (appropriate) phrase you want lettered. (You can leave the address off if I am your friend on Facebook, and can find it that way.) Alternatively, you can send your request via email, if you don't want your address visible in a public place.

I won't make any promises as to how fast I will satisfy requests. I will do one per person, until all requests have been satisified. If I get a sufficient number of requests, I will post the list on this blog, so you can see where you are in the queue.

Here's hoping that this will be as a fun a project as it sounds right now.
