Out of Egypt:

feeling a newfound sense of peace

..as I had prayed for earlier tonight. Though there are still unresolved issues, and certainly questions for which I need answers, I no longer feel angry. And this is good - "for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God."

It is amazing how God puts you in uncomfortable situations so that He can be God to you, and you can realize even more than before your own sinfulness and the wonder of grace.

This isn't over yet. I ask your prayers.

If you're wondering why all my personal entries lately are so oblique, it's because I've made a conscious decision that it is not good to share details of your personal life in a public forum. Furthermore, it is not good to share things which involve other people. That merely spreads the hurt around, but does not heal it.

Christ is our peace, and He has committed to us the ministry of reconciliation. I need to keep Him always foremost in my thoughts, and in my heart. "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly." "Bless and do not curse." "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God."
