weaning myself from the 'Net

I rarely feel like I have time to read my Bloglines anymore. Less time with hyperlinks, more with people. This is a good thing.

Today Sarah and I went to an art show/benefit by and for the homeless and formerly homeless youth of Boston: Sanctuary. It was great. It was better than I thought it would be, and I thought it would be good.

I find art to be most meaningful in the context of community. When I see art being made by people like myself, then I am inspired to contribute, to experiment, and to create.
