my fafsa was processed after all

So I thought that my FAFSA corrections hadn't been processed, but they had. My EFC is 000, just as I wanted. Now if only my loans could be $0 also. I am happy to have gotten the $7500 scholarship, however. That will cover most of what would otherwise be private (higher-interest) loans. Time to fill out the Stafford application...

Still haven't gotten my tax rebate from the government. Did that get cancelled or did I just slip through the cracks?

Did you have direct deposit?

No, unfortunately. I'll probably end up calling them, although I have about 20 other things to do, too.

Did you look at the "schedule"? The checks are sent out according to the last two digits of your SSN. Since you don't have direct deposit, you could be waiting as long as July.

June 6th, according to the calendar. Thanks for the tip, Carrie. It's not like I need it today, but it would be nice to have it.
